Daemune#
Everyone kneels eventually. I just remember who made me wait.
A daemune is a hero who ascended to serve a god of the infernal side and took up that god's power. Nobody starts as one: you earn it, and you keep every score you had.
How they live#
Daemunai are infernal, as tall as avaries and much heavier, and neutral like everything a god makes directly. Narsis is their city.
Goblins and orcs both claim daemune blood, and daemunai don’t usually argue the point.
The 15s on this page are for a daemune your storyteller runs. A hero who ascends keeps their own scores instead.
- Temper
- Violent when pushed. In hard times they turn on other races first.
- Leaving
- When a city turns bad they leave as warbands behind whoever is strongest.
- Money
- Save about half of what they have left over.
- Crowds
- Like some room around them.
- Tongue
- Infernal, spoken from birth and known perfectly, besides common.
What others say#
Every orc in Narsis claims one as an ancestor, and every daemune in Narsis lets them.
Don't bargain with one. You'll win, and then you'll find out what you won.
Where they live#
How daemunai feel about settling in each of Sedia’s provinces. Each links to the province’s page, and Home Province covers what it takes to become a citizen of one.
- At home in
- Narsis
- Will live in
- New Saellem
- Never lives in
- Menusia

- Weight
- 400 to 600 pounds
- Genders
- Neutral only
- Favored stats
- Wisdom and intelligence (the game's race menu lists these; they don't change your scores)
Playing a daemune#
You don’t pick a class for a daemune. You bring the one you had, and the name you earned, with your god’s name added in the middle.
Called home
A daemune is gathering the goblins and orcs who claim its blood into a warband. Some of them want to follow it, some want it gone, and the party is in Narsis when it happens.
Names#
An ascended hero keeps the name they earned, and their god adds one more between the given name and the family name.
